This may prompt our Clubs to ask for another one to be organised locally towards the end of the School Summer Holidays - Cheap venue and Pool on site, like the last one we did.
The only problem is staffing it - only HQ Instructor Trainers can do it when they are available.

Entry Level: Club / Ocean Diver
9 candidates are registered so far so this course will be going ahead.
Should you require the above course please give me a call and I will put your name down, subject to being able to get enough instructors to help.
The cost of the course is dependant on instructor fees, however the course should not cost more than £ 30.00 - £ 35.00. A deposit of £ 10 will secure your place on the course (subject to instructor availability)

2) Have any Resusci-Anne's you can let us use for this course.
3) You are qualified and able to help on this course.

As part of the ongoing review of Skill Development Courses the entry requirements for a number of courses have been updated. SDC minimum entry requirements are now as follows:

Boat Handling
Diver Cox'n Assessment (Boat Handling Course a pre-requisite)
Chart work and Position Fixing
Marine Radio Operation
Navigational Aids (Chart work and Position Fixing a pre-requisite)
Outboard and Boat Maintenance (Boat Handling Course a pre-requisite)

Nitrox Diver
Oxygen Administration Award
First Aid for Divers
Lifesaver Award
Rescue First Aid (First Aid for Divers and Oxygen Administration Award pre-requisite)

Advanced Lifesaver Award (Lifesaver Award a pre-requisite)
Search and Recovery Techniques
Advanced Diving Techniques
Combined Nitrox (minimum of 20 dives after qualifying as a Sports Diver)
Advanced Nitrox, (Nitrox Diver a pre-requisite plus a minimum of 20 dives after qualifying as a Sport Diver)
Extended Range Diver (Advanced Nitrox a pre-requisite)
Full Face Mask
